Information Before Your Appointment....

Thank you for choosing Dick Wolfe's Garage. Below are a few reminders as to what to expect for your upcoming appointment. 

After Hours Drop-Off

If you are dropping your vehicle off after hours (5PM-8:30AM), please use the mailbox on the front of the building. The one closest to the door is for USPS. Remove an envelope, complete per instructions on the envelope. Once completed, use the drop slot located to the left of the mailbox in the garage door. This will ensure the keys are safely inside the building. If you need a business card, you can "tap" your apple or android device on the "dot" sticker on the underside of the mailbox lid. ** Please be sure to indicate if you need the vehicle by a certain time. 

Appointment Time

If you are scheduled for a waiting appointment, please arrive 5-10 minutes prior, to allow time for check-in. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be rescheduled for a later date and time. There is coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and Wi-Fi all free to customers.

PA State Inspection & Emissions

It is required by the state that the vehicle has a CURRENT registration card. This card must be printed with all the information legible, including the barcode. We cannot use a photograph of this. If you did not print it after you renewed online, please email a PDF copy to Admin@dickwolfesgarage.com. You also must have a VAILD copy of your insurance card. If a printed copy is not available, this can be a photograph. You can sent it via text to our main number 717-545-3034 or you can email it to Admin@dickwolfesgarage.com. If you arrive to your appointment with an expired registration or insurance card you may be asked to reschedule for a later date and time. 

Wheel Lock Key

If your vehicle is equip with locking lug nuts, we must have the key to remove the wheels. Please place it in your cupholder. 

Picking Up Your Vehicle- After Hours

We try to make it as convenient as possible for our customers by offering multiple options for pickup after hours. Payments can be made over the phone or through our secure portal online. Just ask us to text or email you the secure link. Once it is completed, we can lock your keys in the car (if you have a spare set) or we can use the lock box outside. We would place your keys into it and you can retrieve them with a special code when it suits you. The parking lot it well lit at night and monitored with security cameras 24/7. 

Payment Plans

We are currently working on adding additional payment options, some with 6 months, 0% interest. Check back or ask for more information.  

Customer Supplied Parts

We do NOT install customer supplied parts. Car owners have come to trust that they’ll receive quality and reliable auto repair and maintenance from Dick Wolfe's Garage. In a nutshell, here’s why it’s not cool for customers to bring in their own parts.

Liability: The auto mechanics at Dick Wolfe's Garage don’t know the quality of the supplies that you would bring in. We are certain that all the parts that we use are in pristine condition and the best in the auto industry. We want to guarantee quality and by allowing us to use our supplies makes our job easier and more efficient.

Insurance: Every business has risks and that’s why purchasing insurance is important. If our insurance company discovers that the supplies come from an unknown origin, they may decide not to cover the claim or even worse, see the auto repair shop as a risk and drop their policy.

 

Profit: The profit from supplies helps keeps our lights on, pays the team, and allows our business to run as smoothly as possible. Missing that profit makes the transaction not worth doing with the increased risk and liability.

 

Warranty: Our parts come with a warranty. You won’t have that guarantee if you bring in your own supplies.

 

The good news is that Dick Wolfe's Garage has you covered! Let us use our state-of-the-art tools, supplies, and equipment to get your car in optimal shape. 

Vehicle Storage Upon Completion

Due to the size of our parking lot and the volume of business we do daily, it hinders others from ease of access in and out of our area. Therefore, all vehicles must be picked up within 3 days of completion. Starting on the 4th day, you will be charged a $35/day storage fee. Once it hits 10 days, the vehicle will be towed off of our property to a storage facility where additional fees will apply at the owners expense. This policy does NOT apply to vehicles on the lot awaiting parts, or if previous arrangements have been made with us to keep the vehicle longer.
